The Mummy Archive: In 1999 Toy Island released 6" action figures based on The Mummy. They are dated 1998. Checklist Adventure O’Connell Cursed Imhotep Cursed Mummy Cursed Princess Decapitated Mummy In 2001 Jakks Pacific made 6" figures based on The Mummy Returns. N2 Toys produced 12" figures.

The Mummy is limited to 3,000 pieces and is a good figure, but not great. It’s definitely worth having in your collection, if for no other reason than to have a complete set of 12" Sideshow monsters. But I can’t really recommend paying the going rate for it.

Toy Island’s The Mummy line of action figures and playsets were the highlight of toy releases for me in 1999, but by most standards, were largely forgotten with Hasbro’s Star Wars massively overshadowing them. Toy Island produced eight 6″ action figures, two 12″ figures, and three playsets.
One was a 3 3/4" set of 6 characters (Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolf Man, Mummy, Phantom and The Creature From The Black Lagoon) in both regular and glow in the dark versions. (And of course, it was the glow Creature figure that was kitbashed into the recent Suckadelic Creature .
Jakks Pacific The Mummy Returns toy line was disappointing for a few reasons. While the sculpts were okay (O’ Connell didn’t look like Brendan Fraser), articulation was alright and the figures bordered on more collectible based than being an actual toy like the 1999 line.
